(help...????....??...???) sniffle, sniffle

Do you ever feel completely uninspired?

I have a serious case of BLOGGER'S BLOCK.
It's so bad, that even intensive Pinterest and Etsy therapy sessions have not seemed to help.
I know...it's that bad.
(I even did laundry yesterday)

My husband suggested that I might be losing interest in blogging, which isn't the case at all.  Seriously, when I find something I can share here, I can't wait to post it.

I've been working on this post for a good hour...writing and rewriting the same 5 sentences.
It's so FRUSTRATING.

I've put so much of my dwindling creative energy into this post that I couldn't think of a title.

You're probably tired of my wreath, sign, and chalkboard posts - but it's what I've been spending most of my time on lately.  (oh, and potty training)

I started this post around 10am this morning.
Good times, huh?

Looks like I need serious help...so, if you know of anyone looking to...I don't know...guest post?
I may know someone lookin' for said guest poster.  I can hook you up, just let me know.

I'm not too ashamed to beg.

Hopefully, this lovely holiday weekend brings some much needed inspiration.
(and a couple, or 10 offers to guest post?)

Have a great Memorial Day Weekend and thanks for stopping by even though I've been creatively challenged lately.

Oh...and don't forget, if you wanna do a little guest post......just saying.

Pinterest Wedding Envy

Have any of you married ladies made the mistake of  checking out wedding related boards on Pinterest?

Geez.

I've limited myself to the decor-related boards because there's a lot of inspiration for retail displays and craft ideas...don't roll your eyes at me...it's important that I stay on top of crafting trends.

Whatever.

My jealousy-filled outburst is inspired by this picture...

That is a barn.
Stunning, isn't it.
My wedding was in a mansion and didn't look as elegant.

Check out the lounge area...
Not sure how thrilled I'd be about sitting on bales of hay....but it sure does look beautiful.

This looks a little more comfy...

Want a little more barn wedding eye candy...what else do you have to do, right...

And then, there are all the lovely drool-worthy, vintage details:

Since starting to make paper wreaths, I've been lucky to be able to work with some amazingly creative brides lately on some of their wedding decor -

Can't forget the cake...
check out these gorgeously-styled confections.
(I'm the one bride on Earth who took time to sit down and eat a huge piece of cake at her wedding)

If I would have just stayed in my Pinterest-deprived world, I could have lived the rest of my life not knowing of the amazing wedding loveliness that has come about since 2008.

You know what....all of this just makes me hungry for cake.

At least I don't have to worry about fitting in a wedding dress...bring on the cake!

Whimsical Wednesday: Pulchritudinous Pottery

Hope you all had a lovely Mother's Day..ours was....an adventure?

It was Day #1 of Operation P (PeePee on the Potty)...

It did not go well. (As expected)...

I (jokingly) threatened to run away from home...on Mother's Day...

More on that later.

On to the good stuff...
Pulchritudinous Pottery.

Did you think pulchritudinous was a brand name or style of pottery?
Actually, it's not...it's a word I came across in the thesaurus when looking up a more tantalizing word for "pretty."

I've probably slaughtered the way this word is supposed to be used...but since I can't begin to even pronounce it, I thought you'd forgive me this time.

Once again, narrowing down my list to just these pieces was really difficult...so many amazing artists and so many beautiful creations.
I urge you to visit the shops (linked below the pictures when available) to see more of these artists' amazing work.

Rain Forest Leaf by Prince Design UK

Gorgeous, right?  Hopefully, you found some type of design inspiration from the work of these super-talented artists.

Thank you for joining me for another

Hope all of you are having a lovely week.
And that you are not spending it potty training a toddler**.

There may or may not be a pop quiz on the word, pulchritudinous.

**Of course I love and adore said toddler more than life itself.  I'm just being overly dramatic in an attempt to humor you.
Especially those of you who have potty trained a toddler.  All advice is welcomed and appreciated!
