Pleated Wreath

Are you tired of all my wreath posts yet?  I promise I hadn't planned on doing another...but I've been spending a lot of time working on them to sell, and I came up with a little twist on my original rolled flower wreath that I wanted to share.

What do you think?  Have I been staring at coffee filters for too long and completely lost my mind? hmmm, maybe you shouldn't answer that.

When you create things, do you have trouble deciding whether the outcome is good, bad, or just odd?

I do...have trouble deciding whether something I like is something that others might like...

At my ripe old age of 33, I'm pretty much over caring what other people think of me...but since I'm trying to sell many of the items I make and re-make...its kind of part of the job description to care what people think
 about those things.

Do you worry about what people think of your creations?  Be it crafts, your home, your style of dress, etc?

Maybe I've been spending too much time with my glue gun, but I like how this turned out...kinda vintage-y.
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to check out yet another one of my paper wreaths...I PROMISE...cross my heart...that my next post will have nothing to do with wreaths or paper flowers.

Just thought it best to get all of those out there so I didn't have the temptation of doing another wreath post any time soon.  I wonder if anybody has ever sleep-blogged (you know, like sleep walking, sleep eating...)...if my next post is about wreaths, then you'll know that sleep blogging is real.

  1. What a beautiful wreath. I really like the look of roses made from book pages or sheet music. Great job.

  2. HI there! New follower here! I love the wreaths you made and how you combined the coffee filter & book pages! I just made a coffee filter wreath last night and posted it on my blog and also a book page wreath a couple months back and love them both. Thanks for sharing your version on both together, it looks really cool! :)

  10. I think they're AWESOME! And yes, I always have that problem, trying to decide if it's cool, dorky, or if I've just been spending too much time with my glue gun! haha! Which is the main reason I started my blog... to get my friend's honest opinion! however, none of my friends even read my blog... haha

  11. I was just over at Kathleens of Faded Charm and though I haven't come over in so long I saw your thumbnail and clicked because, yes though there are a lot of paper wreaths I thought yours looked different.
I try not to worry what ppl think but I'd be lying if I said I didn't care. It's our nature to care so you are not alone.
    Hugs to you

  13. You just made my day! Your decorations are beautiful, very pleasing to the eye unlike a lot of Christmassy stuff you see out there. Score!

  15. I know what you mean about thinking one of your creations is nice, but not knowing if someone else will think the same thing. I have a vendor space in Lancaster, PA, and when I make something to sell, I always wonder if someone will like it. Funny thing. Some of my most unfavorite things have sold and my favorite things have lingered (like my key table that I just adore!).
I really like your pleated wreath!
