What day is it again?
When's Christmas?
Are you sure?
Really?
Oh my.
Wow, it's been one of those weeks where losing my mind seems like a total possibility! (It could be easily be lost anywhere in my house, and it would take a good week to dig it out from the piles of toys, Christmas paraphernalia, crafting stuff, and paint cans.)
To add a little excitement to the week, I found out Monday night around 9:00pm that the farm table sold from my booth. (YAY!!!) I knew my pink dresser had sold over the weekend (YAY AGAIN), and that there would be a pretty big hole in my booth, but I thought the space would be fine until after Christmas. When the table sold...well, that's half my booth, so I couldn't wait to fill it in.
Since none of my larger pieces have sold, I wasn't expecting this surprising wonderful news, and didn't have anything ready to take its place.
***5:00am Yesterday***
Subject #1:
I wish I had an actual "before" pictures showing the pretty pink bow stickers adhered below each of the 12 non-matching plastic knobs.
Please excuse the sippy cup - repainting 3 pieces of furniture in 10 hours with 2 clingy adorably loving toddlers can be total insanity a challenge, though I'm happy to report that no children were harmed in the making of this post.

Subject #3:
Small stained wood table (forgot a picture...sorry)
***Fast-forward to 5:00pm***

I didn't have 12 matching knobs, so these are from our kitchen cabinets...repainted. We planned on replacing them....eventually. I lined the drawers with really cute striped paper, but my camera battery died while I was taking pictures.

(The purple table) You'll NEVER guess what I used on this table....coffee filters left over from making a wreath...(if you're interested, here's a tutorial I did for another rolled paper flower wreath)
I wish I had better pictures of the table, I was pretty happy with how it turned out...my husband said, "I think you've found every possible way to use coffee filters..." Ha! Is that a challenge!!! I have only JUST begun..bwah hah hah!
uhhhh....Back to the booth....
It's looking a little sparse - I have a bookshelf and a couple dressers I need to work on to fill in the holes.
and I want to redo the backdrop, mine is looking really sad
"Sparse" is something I can handle when it's due to things selling!
I can't thank those of you who've offered bits of your booth-expertise to me...I'm planning on using many of your suggestions going forward. I really, really appreciate it though....
I can't believe how much my life has changed since I started blogging in August...I can't thank those of you who visit and follow my blog enough for your kindness, support, advice, and friendship.
I wish each of you a very happy holiday season!!

How did you do that with the table?
ReplyDeletePlease let me know. That wreath is so gorgeos.Did you made the paperroses of coffee filter? What did you use to color them? Sorry I had so many questions, but I loved the wreath.
